BMW - Paris Photo Prize
Launched in support of contemporary photography, the BMW - Paris Photo Prize awards the work of a contemporary artist. The winner is awarded a 12,000 euros Prize.
2009 theme: “When was the last time you experienced something for the first time?”
Karijn Kakebeeke, represented by The Empty Quarter Gallery from Dubai, was named winner of the 2009 BMW - Paris Photo Prize for contemporary photography at the opening of Paris Photo.
